Cuphead DLC: How to Defeat Angel and Demon
Not only does Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course provide you a ton of fresh adversaries, equipment, and charms. They made sure to include a secret boss and connect them to unique charms. Additionally, in the true Cuphead fashion, none of it is a walk in the park. There are two hidden bosses called The Angel and Demon that must be eliminated in the DLC's level One Hell of a Dream. In Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, these are the strategies for taking down the Angel and the Demon.
Defeating the Angel and Demon in Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course
The boss fight itself is really unique. Everything is a single-phase, therefore you get what you see. You will only ever have to deal with the devil, who is the only one who can hurt you. The angel is always on your side and acts always in your best interests. As a result, the devil and angel have constantly switched anytime you turn. Because a lot of dodging involves shifting left and right to obtain the ideal angle, this is rather severe. Fortunately, if you play your cards well, there is never a need to turn around, giving you the opportunity to essentially skip the entire purpose of this combat. As a first step, make sure you have the Smoke Bomb charm with you. The Chaser gun, a tried-and-true weapon for zero aiming, will be used by you.
While confronting the demon, keep pressing the fire button. Leap atop the storm cloud when it appears. Jump off of it once more when it disappears (leaving you right where you started). As much as you can, stay to the left of the screen. When the fire beam approaches, hop over it and start running. Jump up and onto the cloud after that, allowing it to take you over to the other side. Any fireball projectiles that come your way, jump over them.
As you are on the far left side of the screen, you should be able to jump over most of the fireballs. If you frequently leap, many of these fireballs will fly over your head because they follow your location at the time of launch. Pink fireballs will also be present, which Cuphead is able to deflect. You do not, however, need to succeed in these parries because there is no grading in this duel.
