In tonight's episode 10 of season 6 of the AMC show Better Call Saul, Carol Burnett made her television debut. We became intrigued by her right away. Then who was Marian? Her appearance in the show's black and white part led one to believe that she was somehow involved with the Nebraska story. The important question was what form that story would take.
Marian was Jeff's mother. He immediately recognized her as a component of his strategy to solve his issue. He only wanted to learn about Jeff's vulnerability and find a way to communicate with him. Evidently, she deduced that the man's true desire was to take part in "the game," something for which he believed he could compete.
Getting to know some of the security guards, including Parks and Recreation actor Jim O'Heir, So that Jeff could go in and do the deed, he wanted to make sure he knew everything there was to know about the cameras.
