Phasmophobia: How the Tarot Cards work
If you and your ghost-hunting team need to pinpoint the ghost's position or require assistance identifying the ghost's type, the cursed items in Phasmophobia can be useful. The issue with these things is that they have a cost, and the Tarot Cards may well have the most negative effects of all the cursed things. This manual explains the operation of the Tarot Cards and their role in phobias.
How all Tarot Cards work
There are 10 different cards in the Tarot Card deck. Each card you play will produce a different random effect, such as making the ghost interact with the item or making it move about. They can also have an impact on your teammates, making them cope with supernatural actions they would not otherwise have to. They have a bad effect anytime you utilize the Tarot Cards and sap your sanity, same as the other cursed things. A Tarot Card deck has ten cards, and each effect is chosen at random. However, they also have extremely detrimental effects, such as making the ghost attack, depleting other team members, or even having a chance to make a player lose their life.
The effects of the 10 cards from the deck that you can draw are listed below:
- Death: Starts the hunt for ghosts
- The Devil: A ghostly manifestation
- Fool: Initially appears as the card before changing to The Fool and remaining motionless.
- The Hanged Man: I'll kill you right away.
- Hermit: Teleports the ghost back to its room, who also temporarily stops all apparitional activity.
- Moon: Lowers everyone’s sanity to 0
- The High Priestess: Resurrects a dead teammate. The next individual to pass away will resurrect if no one is already deceased.
- Sun: Brings everyone's level of rationality to 100
- Tower: Compel the ghost to do an act within the residence
- When the wheel of fortune turns red, you lose 25 sanities; when it turns green, you gain 25 sanities.
The Tarot Cards are the item in Phasmophobia with the highest risk and return, thus we advise using them carefully. Put them to good use.
