MultiVersus: How to play 1v1 singles

Characters from the Warner Bros. universe appear in Player First Games' brawler game MultiVersus. The basic objective of the 2-vs-2 combat-based game is to win by either pushing your opponent's character outside of the boundary or inflicting more damage in a predetermined amount of time. For those who are interested, a 1v1 singles option is also available.

How to play 1v1 in MultiVersus

The procedures for starting the 1v1 singles mode in MultiVersus are listed below.

  • Open MultiVersus and watch as the home screen loads. Choose "Play" when it has finished loading.
  • You'll arrive at a new screen with the options "Online," "Practice," and "Custom" after doing this. Simply click "Online" here.
  • Choose "Normal" from the secondary tab of the screen.
  • Finally, deselect the "Teams" option and choose the "1 VS 1" mode. When you press the confirm button, a singles match will begin.

When playing the game, the "Teams" option will be chosen by default; therefore, be careful to deselect it. You will receive a match at random in any mode if you choose the "1 VS 1" mode and do not deselect the "Teams" mode. You will be directed to the character selection screen after choosing the mode. Characters from a variety of fandoms can be found in the MultiVersus roster, including well-known figures. Check out our MultiVersus tier list if you're unsure of which characters in the game to focus on acquiring first. However, given that the majority of characters are still playable, it would be better to experiment with a few before settling on one.
