A Buzzwole will momentarily show up in Pokémon Go's five-star raids. Players will have the chance to acquire it during this period, provided they can defeat it in combat. At the end of a raid, you have a fair probability of catching it, yet there is always a risk you won't be able to. What are your chances of catching a shiny Buzzwole in Pokémon Go after you defeat it in battle?
Is there a shiny Buzzwole in Pokémon Go?
We can confirm that Buzzwole's shiny variant is not yet available in Pokémon Go. No matter how many Buzzwole you kill in battle and capture, a shiny version won't arrive at the conclusion of the raid because it won't be available for the first round of raids in which it will occur. When a new Pokémon is added to the smartphone game, Niantic frequently does this. While there are several ways for players to capture the Pokémon in Pokémon Go, legendary Pokémon are normally only available through five-star raids.
Everyone has a decent chance to catch the new Pokémon during the initial round of raids for legendary Pokémon, test its abilities and stats against other players, and train it for use in the Battle League. The shiny variant usually becomes available when the legendary Pokémon makes a comeback every year or two for a new batch of raids. This typically occurs when another significant game event is taking place at the same moment.
Although Buzzwole isn't currently a Pokémon in Pokémon Go, a shiny variant should show up sometime in 2019. We're hoping there won't be a two-year wait, but Niantic hasn't confirmed anything.
