Do you need contracts for MyTeam in NBA 2K23?

Numerous new features will be included in NBA 2K23, and the same is true for MyTeam. For 2K23, MyTeam will appear slightly different, and this includes how players manage their cards. NBA 2K23: Do you need contracts for MyTeam?

In the past, MyTeam athletes had to rely significantly on contracts. Whether it was a Ruby or a Galaxy Opal, every NBA player card in MyTeam had a contract length for a certain number of games. The card could not be used until a new contract was applied to it after the term of that specific contract had expired. Also, past NBA 2K games had a lot of contract tiers, with rarer tiers giving players longer contracts.

That is a thing of the past because player contracts for MyTeam in NBA 2K23 have been removed. On August 24, the NBA 2K social media team tweeted a confirmation of this. This September, NBA 2K23 will launch for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. This year's main edition of the book will have a picture of Devin Booker on the cover. Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, and Michael Jordan will be on the covers of two other editions.
