The MyTeam card-collecting feature, which is the centerpiece of NBA 2K23, is getting some updates, according to the development team. Since this is a team-controlled option, users have had to switch between players rather than merely controlling one, as in MyCareer. This will drastically change for MyTeam in 2022.
Is player lock available in NBA 2K23 MyTeam?
According to the NBA 2K development team's MyTeam Courtside Report, which went live on August 25, triple threat online co-op will be included in NBA 2K23. Multiple players can team up in a 3-on-3 battle in this mode's various iterations, including Party Mode, Co-Op, and Competitive Online. The NBA 2K23 production team did not simply make that announcement regarding playing one position, though. The people who made the game say that this feature will be available in all MyTeam modes, not just co-op.
There was a letter from the creators with this addition. The 2K23 developers stated that since this change is being introduced into a team-controlled mode, they are not taking this move lightly. The 2K team also mentioned that it will be watching the process to make sure it is balanced because MyTeam has a competitive element.
The implementation of the player lock won't be the only change coming to MyTeam. Other big changes include the removal of contracts and the addition of Clutch Time Single Player.
