The concept of gambling is prominently emphasized in Hard West 2. After all, one of the characters' gambling bets with the group's souls is the reason things go wrong for your gang aboard the Ghost Train. What are Poker Cards in Hard West 2?

Early in the game, during the cutscene where the party loses their souls, poker cards are mentioned. You take control of Gin shortly after you awaken and start looking for your lost teammates on the map. You will come across poker cards as you go throughout the map. While they can be found in many places, the majority of the time, they are near points of interest on the map. You can put poker cards on the players in your posse as accessories. Up to five cards can be equipped on a character at once to fill out their hand. There is a different stat increase for each card. For instance, the Queen of Clubs gives the character it is equipped with a four-point boost in speed.

How to use Poker Cards in Hard West 2?

You can equip a poker card to a member of your posse by going into the menu after you've found one. To achieve this, either click the K key or choose the card icon in the screen's upper right corner. Once you're in the card menu, select the character you wish to equip a card to. Drag the desired card up to the character's hand after that.
