With only 10 days left before it ends, the MLB The Show 22 Field of Dreams featured program is the shortest one yet. Ahead of it comes the Dog Days of Summer featured program, which will have three bosses, all of whom are anticipated to be 99 OVR, as well as a unique 98 OVR player item. So who is the MLB The Show 22 Sizzling Summer Program's managers? Let's look at it.
Cal Ripken Jr.
With the Field of Dreams program, Orioles supporters were treated to a real treat. Both the past and future of the Orioles are represented by two of the nine bosses: top prospect Grayson Rodriguez and retired second baseman Brian Roberts. Speaking of the past, the Dog Days of Summer program will award a 99 OVR card to a different former O's player.
As the "Iron Man," Cal Ripken Jr., is the first boss, this one will be far bigger in terms of star power. This card will be a 1984 Ripken season-themed 99 OVR Retro Finest card.
As of this writing, the names of the other two bosses are a mystery. Prior to the launch of the Dog Days of Summer program, those will be announced soon. The featured program for "Dog Days of Summer" will start on August 19.
