How to draw in Splatoon 3
In Splatoon 3, you must visit this red mailbox in the city in order to draw a post. If you turn right after taking control of your character, you can find it. It lies to the left of Hotlantis and just across from the Man-o'-Wardrobe retailer. If you have selected a team, you can choose to create a general post or one for the current splatfest when you interact with this mailbox. During regular hours, your regular post will appear, but during the event, the Splatfest will take precedence.
To draw and erase on a drawing surface, hit A and B, respectively. By tapping L or R, you can adjust the size of your pen or eraser. The X will enlarge the post so you can see it more clearly. ZR will redo that drawn line, while ZL will fix a mistake. The board will be totally erased when you press the left stick in, allowing you to start over. The board will flip over if you press Y. Press Minus to save and exit when finished. If you have accounts connected to Facebook or Twitter, you may also post it there by selecting "Plus."
When other players approach your character while they are traveling around their version of Splatsville, after you have created a post, they will be able to view it. In the city, your message will probably also be written in graffiti or on signage. You can engage with that character and notify Nintendo if you discover an offensive post from another player in your game. After all, we have to keep Splatsville's streets tidy.
