The Port-a-Bunker is used in place of the Port-a-Fort in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. The Port-a-Bunker is significantly smaller than the Port-a-Fort, but the concept is basically the same: a kind of prefabricated construction in utility item form that you can deploy immediately without having to build. You can either hide inside of it or set up shop on the ramps on either side of the wedge-shaped structure. Moving back and forth at the top of the ramps makes it incredibly simple to enter and exit the cover. In Zero Build modes, only the Port-a-Bunker can be used to "build."
Where to find a Port-a-Bunker
In theory, Porta-a-Bunkers should be quite simple to locate since they are uncommon (green) loot. They come in a pack of two, but so far we've only found them once, so we wonder whether there's a bug making them drop less frequently than they ought to. It might have simply been bad luck. We searched for a while before finding our Port-a-Bunker in a chest on a rooftop in the midst of Tilted Towers, but we haven't discovered another one since.
How to Use a Port-a-Bunker
Finding at least one foe is the next step after discovering a Port-a-Bunker. Now, keep your distance or they'll just start running around your bunker. In an ideal scenario, you would position your Port-a-Bunker far away from the opposition so you could pick them off at a distance while hiding atop your bunker. Throw it in front of you to deploy it. If you don't toss it in the enemy's direction, it won't do you any good.
Once your bunker is constructed, the easiest method to use it is to crouch at the top of the ramps on either side and move back and forth at the top to duck into and out of the shelter. You can bounce off the front tires to make a speedy getaway.
