Slime Rancher 2: Where to find Fire Slimes

How to get Fire Slimes in Slime Rancher 2

In Slime Rancher 2, you must travel to Ember Valley Island and enter either the volcano's inside cave or the neighboring lava fields to locate Fire Slimes. Both of these are found on the island's western side, where Fire Slimes can be discovered in lava pools and smoldering ash. You may open Ember Valley Island by popping the Pink Gordo. Once you get to the island, just keep going west until you reach the volcano and lava fields. Because contacting the lava will harm your character, using them can be risky.

Additionally, Crystal, Boom, and Batty Slimes can be ideal selections for your farm's profit-generating options because they are native to these regions. Fire Slimes and Booms can both be found in the same general area, but their care requirements are very different. Only lava or ash are suitable habitats for fire slimes. Yet, you can only make ash; you cannot currently bring lava back to your base. You'll need an incinerator and to buy the Ash Trough upgrade for it in order to do it.

You can put your fire slimes into the trough and they will survive once you have an Incinerator and an ash trough. Shoot additional objects or food into the incinerator to make ash for them to eat if you want them to keep producing fire plorts. You might be wondering if your Fire Slime can survive in the Magma Pool decorating item. Yes, they will live in the pool, but they won't give birth to fire plorts. Ash, which is exclusively found in the incinerator, is the sole source they can use to create the plorts.
