In Final Fantasy XIV, variant dungeons have been introduced. The Sil'dihn Subterrane, the first one, is currently accessible. You will need to finish a prerequisite quest before you can instantly start exploring this dungeon, but once you do, you will have access to the content and the awards waiting for you. The following information will help you access the Sil'dihn Subterrane Variation Dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV.
Where to find the Sil’dihn Subterrane variant dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV
You'll have to travel to Old Sharlayan. Make sure, though, that you have access to the endgame beyond this point with your character and have finished the final Endwalker expansion campaign quest before you proceed. Then, in Old Sharlayan, travel to (X:11.9, Y:13.3) and chat with a person by the name of Osmon there. After you talk to this person, an NPC named Shallow Moor will suddenly appear next to you and give you the quest you need, called "A Key to the Past."
You can visit this variant dungeon after finishing A Key to the Past, and the variant dungeon finder is now usable. A variation dungeon is an original scenario with multiple paths you may choose to advance, each of which will reveal additional information about the dungeon. Instead of the usual four-player party requirement, you have the option to finish these with a smaller party of players, from one to four.
Because you may finish these dungeons on your own, everyone has access to a variety of dungeon activities, which should help you based on the skills that a tank, DPS, or healer might not have. You can enter the Sil'dihn Subterrane variation dungeon at any time after finishing A Key to the Past.
