God of War Ragnarok: How to get the key to the Watchtower locked door

You can progress in God of War: Ragnarok by completing a number of side quests and activities. When playing as Kratos, these tasks and favors are helpful for gathering resources and enhancing your skills. Mimir will have unfinished business with a prisoner imprisoned in the Watertower in the Bay of Bounty when he travels to Svartalfheim. In God of War Ragnarok, here's what you need to know about getting the key to the locked door of the Watchtower.

Where to find the key for the Watchtower’s locked door in God of War Ragnarok

The Bay of Bounty's geographic center must be reached. There is a huge geyser there, and right next to it is an island. You must climb to the top of the island as you get closer in order to find the key. When you get there, move to the right side of the area since a Wretch Nest is blocking your approach. Until you kill it, it will keep calling for Wretches. Climb to the top, then use the explosive jar in the middle to blow up the heap of molten ore.

Climb over there, and you'll find an arena with another Wretch Nest, but you should be able to take care of it right away. There will be a lever you must pull to bring the elevator down after removing it. Throw your axe at the panel to stop it in its tracks once it is destroyed.

Return to the staircase you used to ascend, then climb to the right to reach the elevator. When you're in the elevator, grab your axe, and you can jump down to shatter the floor and go to the bottom. You must battle the Bergsra Mother and the Wretches it is summoning when you get to the bottom. The key will be in a chest inside that room after you've defeated the Bergsra Mother. Return to the Watchtower at this point to continue playing The Weight of Chains Favour.
