Final Fantasy XIV: How to beat Minduruva in Tower of Zot

Minduruva is one of the three enemies you'll encounter in the Tower of Zot during the Endwalker expansion's Final Fantasy XIV quest. It's the first monster you'll see in the dungeon, so fighting them is an excellent way to get a feel for the other enemies you'll encounter. Here's everything you need to know about defeating Minduruva in Final Fantasy XIV's Tower of Zot.

Minduruva starts the fight with the Manusya Bio. It's a one-target attack that usually targets your Tank. You can expect Minduruva to utilise this attack on your Tank throughout the meeting. Minduruva then quickly cycles through the four key spells they'll be employing for the rest of the battle: Manusya Blizzard III, Manusya Fire III, Manusya Thunder III, and Manusya Bio III. Here's how each one works.

• Manusya Blizzard III uses a pinwheel attack that spreads out throughout the entire floor, providing you small places to dodge and avoid being hit.

• Manusya Fire III is a room AoE spell that can only be avoided by standing directly next to Minduruva, or the spell's centre. To avoid taking any damage, hurry to this spot.

• Manusya Thunder III fires lightning to the north, east, south, and west of the spell's centre point, spreading out from there, leaving you with a clear pattern to avoid.

• Manusya Bio III is a poison attack that spreads around the room Minduruva is in, allowing you to dodge harm by standing behind them.

Minduruva fires them off one by one, allowing you the opportunity to see them all. Minduruva casts a Transmuted spell of one of the four spells after you've seen them, channelling it to the opposite side of the chamber indicated by an arrow. The spell's focal point will be that spot, not Minduruva. If you see an arrow for Transmuted Blizard III, the pinwheel attack will most likely centre at this point, and you'll need to avoid accordingly.

After you've dealt with this once, Minduruva will cast two Transmuted spells on the other side of the chamber that you must avoid, and Minduruva will also cast one of the remaining two. On the west side of the chamber, Minduruvua will cast their spell first, followed by the Transmuted spell on the east side.

Minduruvua will continue to follow this pattern until the end of the battle, at which point your team will triumph.
