Sea of Thieves: How to get the Tavern Crawl Commendation

You must sit in every bar across the Sea of Thieves to earn the Tavern Crawl Commendation. Each Outpost has a single tavern. There are a total of seven taverns, and while you can't see which ones you've already visited, you can see how many you've already visited by going to the Pirate Log tab in the menu and picking Reputation, Bilge Rats, and Buried Treasures. Using Right Trigger (RT), go to the second page and look for the Commendation tile in the middle row, second from the left. This guide will show you where each Outpost is located as well as how to seat in each bar.

Outpost Locations

Find the Tavern at each Outpost on the Map Table (they all have "Outpost" in their name), then sit at each one. Rep until you've sat at each of the seven tables. If feasible, navigate your way across the map from left to right or right to left, depending on where you spawn. You can exit and reload the game to see if you get a better initial Outpost spawn. Reloading the game will also show you if you spawn at an Outpost with a tavern that you haven't visited yet. The following are the names and locations of the Outposts:

How to Sit in Taverns

Season Five of Sea of Thieves included the addition of sitting. You can sit anywhere where a Take a Seat prompt displays, even if you can't sit elsewhere. On Outposts, take a seat at a tavern by approaching any open stool and pressing X to Take a Seat when the prompt arises. You'll receive the Tavern Crawl Commendation once you've sat in all seven taverns across the Sea of Thieves.
