UFC 269 Results: Charles Oliveira vs. Dustin Poirier

Poirier is capable of preventing this. Poirier furiously turns inside as Oliveira falls to the back. With Poirier in guard, Oliveira transitions and creates a scramble that sends the action to the floor. Underneath, Poirier has a body lock. Oliveira squeezed the neck with his hands and landed short elbows inside. Oliveira starts by blocking the nose and mouth, then moves on to the top with violent elbows. Poirier was desperate to keep his grip. There are only two minutes remaining.
From the top, Oliveira has terrible forearms. Poirier is simply attempting to keep him in full guard. Oliveira continues to place his hand on the face before driving elbows and forearms into the opponent. It took less than a minute. Oliveira is simply grinding his way to the top. Oliveira with a front kick to the body in the third round. Poirier wants to strike, but Oliveira pushes forward, causing Poirier to slip to the back. He leaps to his feet and begins searching for the choking. Poirier is standing and supporting the weight of his opponent. He's attempting to fight the hands, but Oliveira is simply too strong. Poirier has no choice but to tap as he continues to work in the choke.
