After defeating Gondul, the Valkyrie of Muspelheim, the Gauntlets of Zeus are obtained. After defeating Hildr, the Valkyrie of Niflheim, the War Belt of Zeus is obtained. Muspelheim and Niflheim cyphers unlock these locales in God of War, and they're the only two worlds not visited as part of the main tale.

The Armor of Zeus also offers Kratos the Glass Ballista skill, in addition to huge increases in Strength, Runic, and Defense skills. Glass Ballista is a God of War passive skill whose effect grows with each armor piece donned.
