Lost Ark: How to Dodge and Evade Attacks
Lost Ark is now receiving some NA and EU servers, thanks to Smilegate and Amazon Game Studios in English-speaking areas. This MMOARPG has Diablo-style fighting and a top-down camera view, as well as a big world to explore and dungeons to conquer. Here's how to avoid and dodge strikes in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Regardless of which level or advanced class you choose, Lost Ark does an excellent job of making players feel powerful. When it comes to mobility options and the ability to get out of the way when an enemy charges towards them, however, not all classes are made equal.
Dodging and Evading Attacks in Lost Ark
To begin, all you have to do is use the spacebar to conduct a rapid dodge or evasion. Your character will then dodge in the direction of your cursor, so make sure you point it in the direction you want to go and keep track of where it is on your screen at all times.
You can't just keep pressing the spacebar to keep dodging because there's a cooldown period. Your dodge cooldown period might last anywhere from six to ten seconds, depending on the class you choose. The Sharpshooter, for example, has a nine-second cooldown, whereas the Assassin only has a six-second cooldown. With an eight-second cooldown, the Soulfist falls somewhere in the middle.
It's crucial to remember that in Lost Ark, every class is viable, so you don't have to worry about the dodge cooldown unless you really want a good mobility build. Most enemy strikes are properly telegraphed, and as long as you aren't spamming it, you'll always have enough time to evade it out of the way.
