Lost Ark: How to unlock Logging
As you continue through Lost Ark, you can gain six Trade Skills, including logging. The Trade Skills are methods for obtaining rare resources for making recipes that can be used to complete missions or grant bonuses to your character. Unfortunately, you will not have quick access to them. This article will walk you through the steps necessary to unlock Logging in Lost Ark.
Logging, like all of the other Trade Skills in Lost Ark, requires progressing through the plot. You must go through the game until you reach the West Luterra region, after which you must travel to Lake bar.
When you arrive at Lake bar, you'll be given the Crown for Lakebar quest, which when completed unlocks all six Trade Skills, including Logging. To obtain your Novice Logging Tool, though, you must chat with Nickel, a shopkeeper in Lakebar Village. You won't be able to log anything unless you have the tool.
You can start Logging by approaching any interactable tree with the Logging tool equipped to your character. Unfortunately, not every tree you see in the game is one of them. Instead, look for areas containing trees that may be harvested, such as Bilbrin Forest in West Luterra.
Arbor Trees can be found in Bilbrin Forest and chopped down. You won't be able to harvest trees in every region, so check your World Map to discover what resources are accessible.
You can obtain whatever resources the node has to offer for crafting or sell them to the Lost Ark market after waiting for the Chopping animation and resources to fall off the tree.
