Elden Ring: How to Find the Kingsrealm Ruins Secret Door

It's not uncommon to come upon ruins at Elden Ring. The Kingsrealm ruins are one such ruin you will come upon; yet, these ruins hide a secret. Many of the ruins you visit will have stairs leading down to a loot-filled cavern. You won't discover any staircases sitting out in the open in the Kingsrealm ruins, no matter how hard you look. Because the stairwells in Kingsrealm are obscured by an illusion, this is the case. It can be difficult to locate the steps if you don't know what you're looking for. Let's look at where the illusion is in Elden Ring and how to get rid of it.

How to Find the Kingsrealm Ruin’s Secret Stairs in Elden Ring

You could spend a few hours just rolling around the entire Kingsrealm Ruins looking for the secret staircase if you wanted to. Of course, this would take a long time and is the worst option. Unfortunately, there are no genuine hints for you to read that will lead you to these stairs. These hidden steps aren't even mentioned by the ghost. You'll need to search the north-eastern side of the ruins for them.

You'll be able to see a brick outline of where the stairs should go on the floor. If you're having difficulties finding it while playing online, you might try using messaging to narrow it down. The majority of people will leave a note in front of the steps informing you that something is hidden there. Messages can't tell you how to solve the Regression Alone puzzle, unfortunately.

You only need to disclose the steps now that you know where they are. This illusion, like most others in Elden Ring, can be dispelled by engaging with it in some way. You can dispel it this way if you can swing your weapon and have it hit the ground. If you can't, don't panic; rolling over the top of the space where the steps should be will remove the illusion.

You can now descend and challenge the boss inside when the stairwell has been exposed. The Royal Revenant boss is a swift opponent who can spit poison in its path.
