Core Keeper: How to get a Pickaxe

While players will start Core Keeper far beneath with only a set of wooden tools, obtaining a pickaxe can be a simple undertaking that will greatly improve players' efficiency. Fortunately, earning your first pickaxe just takes five minutes.

A wooden pickaxe may be made using only four pieces of wood and can be found in the inventory. Gamers, on the other hand, should seek to stretch into copper tools as soon as possible. Crafting in Core Keeper is a simple process that requires only the player's inventory to contain the essential materials.

At spawn, players should gather the wood around the obelisks, then use that wood to build their first workbench in Core Keeper. Players should be aware that copper pickaxes become available while using the new Basic Workbench crafting station. Copper ore is needed for the copper pickaxe, which takes four wood and two copper.

Smelt two copper nodes, which are often found near spawn, in a furnace, which costs 20 dirt to construct. Players should have the copper pickaxe after a quick smelt, which may break barriers much faster than wooden tools. This upgrade process is apparently ongoing throughout the game, with new ores allowing players to craft stronger tools, allowing them to explore further and faster than previously.
