Elden Ring: Where to find the Eclipse Shotel

Legendary weapons, or weapons of extraordinary power, frequently have high stat requirements and are found in perilous locations. All of the above can be said about the Eclipse Shotel, a shotel weapon that scales Dexterity and Faith. Shotels have the unique ability to bypass shields due to their curved blades reaching around the shield in question if you weren't aware. Because this weapon has a one-of-a-kind ability, you'll want to know where to find the Eclipse Shotel in Elden Ring.

You'll need to vanquish Morgott the Omen King in order to obtain entrance to the Mountaintops of the Giants. Go to the place shown in the image above, which is Castle Sol, a perilous environment full of Wolves, Bladebirds, and teleporting Sol Knights. Because all of these enemies have a lot of health, don't expect to kill them all right away.

You'll come upon a Site of Grace just before a church altar as you go around Castle Sol. The Eclipse Shotel you seek can be found on this altar. Death Flare, a special ability of the Eclipse Shotel, wraps the weapon in the death illness, which, if enough of it is built upon a target, will instantly kill them. You can then use another L2 input to blow up the weapon, doing a lot of damage in the area surrounding you.
