Elden Ring: Where To Use The Sewer-Gaol Key
One of the most captivating aspects of Elden Ring is the open world, which is brimming with things to do. There are several locations to visit, items to acquire, and NPCs to encounter, many of which have compelling and interesting questlines. Even when players believe they have thoroughly explored a given area, something new and unexpected appears. It will take a long time for gamers to see and perform everything in Elden Ring.
Certain quests and NPCs are more difficult to locate and interact with than others. Consider Dung Eater, an NPC who appears in Roundtable Hold after players visit the Leyndell, Royal Capital, or Volcano Manor for the first time. The Red Spirit can interact with the first time they encounter him, but he appears to be aloof and won't provide much more than idle threats. Players will need to meet with him after finding a specific item from a distance in the game to continue his strange questline. Here's a glimpse at Dung Eater, his mission, and how the Sewer-Gaol Key can help gamers.
How To Get The Sewer-Gaol Key
Players will need to perform one more thing once they have access to Dung Eater in order to complete their questline and earn the Sewer-Gaol Key. Dung Eater may be discovered in Roundtable Hold, down the hallway near the Library, in a freshly unlocked door. The Red Spirit may be seen sitting cross-legged in this area, and unless the player has the item Seedbed Curse in their inventory, speaking to him will offer no results.
After players have gone far enough to open the East Capital Rampart, the easiest spot to find a Seedbed Curse is within the Leyndell, Royal Capital. They can then exit the doorway to the left and go along the Rampart wall. They will eventually come across a big, fire-breathing foe and will be able to leap down to the right and into a doorway. Taking a right once inside will put them on a lift that will take them a short distance downward.
Players should enter the big, golden-domed building in front of them at the bottom of this lift and climb the right-hand stairway. They can take the neighboring twisting stairway up to the top floor once they reach the top of the ladder. They can get the Seedbed Curse from a corpse in a chair there. Returning the Seedbed Curse to Dung Eater will trigger a new dialogue option in which he will hand over the Sewer-Gaol Key.
Where To Use The Sewer-Gaol Key In Elden Ring
Players must first get entry to the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace in Leyndell, Royal Capital, in order to use the Sewer-Gaol Key. Players should then proceed down the neighboring stairs, through the door, and turn left to run along the balcony's edge. They can then descend into the courtyard below and head north to a little alcove with a well. Descending into this well leads to the sewers and a long journey to the Sewer-Gaol Key-accepting door.
When you reach the bottom of the well, go through the first door on the left and follow the road until you reach the Subterranean Shunning Grounds. They can then descend the steps, past the rats, through the door, and turn left to locate a downward-facing ladder. Players can find another Site of Grace by descending the stairway and entering the first door on the left.
After passing through a massive opponent and continuing forward, players will see some grates on the floor, one of which is missing. They should enter this aperture and continue north-west down the tunnel, avoiding (or fighting) the rats and giant plants in the region. A ladder leads upward at the end of this walkway, and reaching the top will place players in a fresh open space. Taking an instant right will lead them to a barred door that requires the Sewer-Goal Key to open.
