Elden Ring: How to use Colossal Swords and where to find them

Now that you've mastered two-handed Straight Swords and cleaving foot warriors with Great Swords, Colossal Swords may be the ideal choice for you. Colossal Swords are suited for Elden Ring gamers who want high risk/high reward gameplay. This class in Elden Ring performs everything a Great Sword does, but faster. Your strikes can be disrupted by an enemy who is faster than you, from the Colossal Sword's windup through recovery. Because of this, newer Elden Ring players should wait to live out their big sword swing, Berserk-inspired dreams until they have mastered the more forgiving Great Sword. After that, here are some of Elden Ring's best and most fascinating Colossal Swords:

Grafted Blade Greatsword

Observing The Grafted Blade Greatsword is a succession of smaller swords welded together to produce one Colossal Sword. If you want to use the Grafted Blade, you'll need 40 Strength and only 14 Dexterity. They may also use the Grafted Blade's Oath of Vengeance skill, which greatly increases all statuses, including poise. Leonine Misbegotten drops the Grafted Blade Greatsword.

Greatsword

It's the Colossal Sword everyone wants and the simplest to find early on. The Greatsword is based on the oversized swords used by Guts in the anime Berserk and is surprisingly heavy. Aside from the comparatively low Strength requirement for a predominantly Strength scaling Colossal Sword at 31, the Great Sword's main appeal is its ease of acquisition. Make a beeline towards the Caelid Wilds, east of Limgrave. Follow the route into the area to find a Caravan Carriage surrounded by dog opponents. The Greatsword is inside.

Godslayer Greatsword

The Godslayer's Greatsword is a good fire damage weapon for Faith build with a decent balance of Strength and Dexterity. The Godslayer's stat requirements are all around 20, making it accessible to any Faith-based caster later in the game. The Queen's Black Flame skill, which ignites the Colossal Sword and fries anything in its path, is the main draw. The Godslayer's Greatsword is in Caelid's Divine Tower.

Starscourge Greatsword

The Starscourge Greatsword will slice everything that drifts into its orbit. The Starscourge's talent, Starcaller Cry, drags foes in and crushes them with gravitational power. To wield the Starscourge, players must first fight Starscourge Radahn and deliver over the Remembrance of the Starscourge to Eina at the Roundtable Hold.
