Final Fantasy XIV: How to create and customize an Adventurer’s Plate

In Final Fantasy XIV, the Adventurer's Plate is a place where you can personalize your character for others to see in the game. From the text and color to your character's profile image as it shows on the same, you'll be able to customize practically every aspect of it. In Final Fantasy XIV, here's all you need to know about making and customizing an Adventurer's Plate.

Your Adventurer's Plate can be found in your Character menu. To get to Adventurer Plate, go to the Character tab and scroll up. From here, you'll have access to all of the customization choices, allowing you a great deal of flexibility in a variety of situations.

When you're ready to make changes to your Adventurer's Plate, right-click anywhere on it and choose Edit Plate. You can alter the base plate, pattern overlay, background, top, bottom, portrait, plate, and accent borders, as well as the layout. However, you can't change your character's appearance. To do so, go back to the Character menu and select Portrait from the drop-down menu. You can play with the character portrait that will display on your Adventurer's Plate in this section.

In this section, you can adjust your character's posture, attitude, and portrait decorations. When you're done, put them on your Adventurer's Plate and show them off to other Final Fantasy XIV players.
