Final Fantasy XIV: How to complete The Crystal Line’s Call side quest

The Newfound Adventure patch for Final Fantasy XIV completely overhauls PvP. Players will note that job abilities for PvP have been fully rewritten when they enter a PvP match or location. With this, a completely new match called Crystalline Conflict has been added, in which teams compete to push a crystal to one side of the battlefield in order to win. To gain access to this new mode, the player must first finish The Crystal Line's Call side quest.

The Wolves' Den Pier in La Noscea is where you can get the Crystal Line's Call side quest. Characters must finish the mission A Pup No Longer in order to participate in PvP and gain access to the Wolves' Den Pier. This mission requires you to go to the pier and speak with an NPC to learn about PvP. The player will then be able to pick up The Crystal Line's Call, a side mission.

This quest is actually quite simple to complete. The player will be met with a short cutscene after speaking with Gungi Zelungi in The Wolves' Den, which will show off the Crystalline Conflict maps and what to expect while competing in the game. When you watch this clip, you'll gain access to the new PvP content and finish the quest.

Crystalline Conflict is a fast-paced and enjoyable competition comparable to Overwatch's escorting the payload. It's a wonderful addition to Final Fantasy XIV's PvP content, with its own set of seasonal rewards and milestones.
