Final Fantasy XIV: How to complete the A Mission in Mor Dhona side quest

Newfound Adventure, the latest patch for Final Fantasy XIV, sets the player on a new adventure. Newfound Adventure, like every other odd-numbered patch in the MMO, offers a new 24-person Alliance Raid in the shape of the Myths of the Realm Aglaia mission. To access this new raid, characters must first complete the A Mission in Mor Dhona quest before embarking on an adventure to uncover the secrets of Eorzea's twelve gods.

When you initially log in to Patch 6.1, the side quest will not be available. Players must travel to Revenant's Toll in Mor Dhona and begin the main scenario chain from Tataru in order to complete this quest. After completing the first five missions in this chain, you'll be able to take the side quest A Mission in Mor Dhona in Old Sharlayan. Keep in mind that the primary plot of Newfound Adventure is rather thick, so getting to this point may take a few hours.

When you enter the Baldesian Annex, talk to the Fresh-Faced Student NPC on the left to begin the quest chain. This will prompt Krile to send a request to return the player to Mor Dhona. Following the story, until you're given the option to queue for the duty is all it takes to unlock the new Alliance Raid.

Before discovering a new location and finishing the raid, you will click a point of interest on the ground and then look for an NPC. This completes the mission, but it also begins a new mystery to be solved.
