For those working on a Strength build, the Beastclaw Greathammer is a worthwhile weapon. You'll want to get your hands on this weapon if you're following the path of the beast. Regal Beastclaw is a special talent that comes with this weapon. You can use this skill to slam the hammer down and perform the Beast Claw incantation. This weapon is an excellent substitute for incantation, allowing you to focus on other spells.

You must travel to the Bestial Sanctum in order to receive this weapon. To the east of Limgrave, this location is in the outermost reaches of the Caelid region. You can get to this region by riding your horse across the area, but this method is useless. The best way to get to the Bestial Sanctum is to use the warping stone behind Mistwood's Third Church of Marika. This will transport you to the Bestial Sanctum, where Gurranq may be found. Caelid can also be reached by using the teleportation chest in Limgrave's Dragon Burnt Ruins.

Gurranq will reward you in various ways if you bring him Deathroot. Deathroot can be obtained by defeating Tibia Mariners or by exploring catacomb dungeons. He will give you a different thing each time you bring him a Deathroot. Gurranq will reward you with the Beastclaw Greathammer if you feed him seven Deathroot.
