My Time at Sandrock: How to Make Money Quickly

Many people are anticipating the debut of the sequel, My Time in Portia, on Steam Early Access on May 26. While natural resources are required for your daily activities, you will also need a substantial sum of money. Money in Sandrock was referred to as "Jules." Use it to buy things from other characters, move faster, and extend your inventory slots. During your time in Sandrock Early Access, this lesson will teach you several ways and tricks for making money, often known as Gols.

How to Make Money Quickly in My Time at Sandrock

Finish your tasks

Despite the fact that it looks to be a no-brainer, the main narrative is nevertheless one of the most profitable in the game. Even at the start of the game, some of the story quest objectives will provide you with hundreds of rounds, which will let you buy the supplies you'll need to progress. Aside from satisfying commissions, putting forth the effort to finish the main story usually pays off handsomely. Furthermore, while side missions may not produce nearly as much as the main storyline, you will occasionally discover side jobs that yield anywhere from 20 to 300 Joules, depending on how long they take to complete and the materials required.

Completing the Commissions

Completing commissions, similar to My Time in Portia, is the simplest way to earn money throughout the game. While one-star commissions only award a few hundred rounds at a time, as your rank rises, the prizes increase dramatically. For example, a one-star commission could pay you 100 to 250 Joules, while a three-star commission could pay you up to 2,000. You will have a consistent flow of Gols money during the playing period if you meet your commissions every day, including weekends.

By selling crafts and furniture

Over time, you will amass a wealth of resources that you will no longer require. As you go through the story, commodities such as stone, plant fibers, and even rubber will become so plentiful that using a few hundred of these resources to produce and sell products would not significantly slow you down. The following are some instances of manufactured and sold goods:
  • Stone Basins – Manufacturing needs x5 stone.
  • Milling Saws – You'll need x4 dynas and x1 stone to build these.
  • Thin – production necessitates the use of x2 vegetable fibers

Make the most of your knowledge.

My stay in Sandrock included the implementation of a new Knowledge Skill Tree system that rewards Knowledge Points for the advancement of specific abilities. The social knowledge tree is one of the most useful skill trees for making money. The rewards of experience, incentives for engaging with NPCs, and commissions are all included in this skill contract. Here are some examples of good social skills contracts to help you increase your commissions:
  • Knowing the Quality Incentive: + 10% commission bonus if you produce a higher-quality commission item than asked.
  • Knowledge topping drawing: + 5% commission incentive if you place in the top three in your trade guild.
  • Knowing the express delivery: +5% commission incentive if you finish a commission on the same day it is provided.
