V Rising: Where to find bones

In V Rising, are you looking for bones? You're not by yourself. Bones are the first resource you must acquire in V Rising, and they serve as the foundation for the majority of your early weapons and armor. However, their utility does not end there: you will be needed to spend time farming for bones throughout the game. Fortunately, once you know how, discovering bones is simple. We'll show you where to collect bones in V Rising, whether you're just getting started or have progressed far enough that you need more bones than you've found thus far. How to get bones in V Rising

In V Rising, finding a graveyard or cemetery is the greatest way to obtain bones. If you're just getting started in a new game and are having trouble crafting the basic equipment that the game requires, return to the tutorial graveyard region and spend some time fighting the constantly spawning skeleton foes. Many foes drop bones in little amounts, but skeletons drop them far more frequently.

When you're out and about in the Farbane Woods, the quickest way to gather bones is to visit one of the region's graveyards. If you spawned at the West Farbane Woods Waygate, proceed east to the Desecrated Graveyard, a small area populated by skeletal opponents. If you spawned at East Farbane Woods Waygate, proceed west to the Infested Graveyard, which is fairly similar. These places are designed to give you a good place to start farming bones in V Rising.

You can start farming bones from the significantly larger and more deadly Forgotten Cemetary in the center of the Farbane Woods once you reach a higher level (25+). This location is also a good place to look for Grave Dust, which you'll need a lot of as the game progresses. While in the graveyards, make sure to open any interactable coffins because they contain numerous helpful items, including bones. It's easy to overlook the fact that these coffins can be opened, so take a close look around any graveyard you find yourself in.

You can learn how to acquire bones from your own home, in addition to graveyards. You'll be able to build Tombs near your Castle Heart after killing the boss Goreswine the Ravager (level 27). These structures are similar to other resource-gathering and resource-refining structures like the Sawmill and the Furnace, except that instead of working with wood and metal, you can place specific flowers on a tomb to summon skeletal enemies, which you can then kill for easy access to bones without leaving your castle grounds.
