Amber Alert was issued for 2 New Hampshire children, Somersworth

Two children from Somersworth, New Hampshire, whose mother is suspected of having kidnapped them, have been given an Amber Alert by the local police department. On Thursday evening, at approximately 9:45 p.m., it was reported that Alaina and Chance Wilson were gone. They were last seen at their residence in Somersworth, New Hampshire, at approximately 7:30 p.m., which is located at 93 Colonial Village Park. They live there with their grandmother. The children are currently under their grandmother's care.

It appeared as though both children were taken from the house through one of the open windows. It was discovered that Alaina Wilson had left her phone on her bed. Alaina Wilson, age 11, is described as being white, standing between 5 feet 1 inch and 5 feet 2 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes, and weighing approximately 96 pounds.

Chance Wilson, age 8, is described as being white, between 4 feet 6 inches and 4 feet 10 inches tall, with brown hair, brown eyes, and weighing approximately 68 pounds. He has been described as having brown eyes. It is believed that Alaina and Chance Wilson were taken from their home by their real mother, Kaileigh Nichols, who is 32 years old, white, around 5 feet and 1 inch tall, with brown hair and eyes, and weighs 125 pounds.

According to the police, Nichols stole a car from a cousin who lived in Maine, and he was spotted driving the car to a school event in Somersworth during the day on Thursday. A veteran license plate from Maine, 2827A, is shown on the car, which is a gray four-door sedan version of the Honda Civic. According to the authorities, Nichols has a history of substance abuse and is known to struggle with mental health concerns.
