MLB The Show 22: How to get 99 OVR George Brett

San Diego Studios released the first "huge collection" in MLB The Show 22 on June 3. A 99 OVR Retro Finest player item of Royals legend and Baseball Hall of Famer George Brett is the prize for completing this collection. In Diamond Dynasty, the sweet-swinging Brett will almost certainly be a hot item. But, if you haven't already, get ready to start collecting cards in order to add this card to your lineup.

How to get 99 OVR George Brett

In MLB The Show 22, you'll need to complete the Legend and Flashbacks collections to earn the 99 OVR George Brett. Outside of the Live Series cards, users must acquire a broad variety of various cards. To see your progress toward the collection, go to Collect -> Collections -> Legends & Flashbacks and then select the 'Brett' option. You'll need 16 vouchers to finish this MLB The Show 22 collection in its entirety. These vouchers can be obtained by completing a specific number of cards for each Series tier, such as Breakout, All-Star, and Postseason. In a moment, we'll come to the specific qualifications for those.

Because there are two-player products that count as vouchers, there are a total of 15 coupons available. To get the 99 OVR George Brett, you'll need the 97 OVR Babe Ruth (which can be gained by collecting eight Takashi Okazaki cards) and the 96 OVR Joe Mauer (which can be obtained by collecting 12 Cover Athletes cards). One of these may theoretically be omitted, but we'll get to that later. You can get the remaining 15 vouchers in addition to those players by accomplishing the following:

• Collect 40 Prospect series cards
• Collect 22 2nd Half series cards
• Collect 6 Milestone series cards
• Collect 27 Faces of the Franchise cards

While customers can get a voucher for the Brett collection, there is no room for it in the collection as of this writing, as indicated by the asterisk next to it. As a result, users will need to earn the remaining 14 vouchers, as well as the 97 OVR Ruth and 96 OVR Mauer, in order to complete this task.

Featured Programs, Player Programs, Battle Royale Programs, packs, and the Diamond Dynasty marketplace are all places where users can get cards for these collections. Completing Mini Seasons and the Nation of Baseball Conquest should be beneficial as well. Winning a Mini Seasons title for the first time rewards you with an 89 OVR Veteran Evan Longoria while completing the Nation of Baseball Conquest rewards you with three cards, including an 88 OVR All-Star Mike Piazza.
