Minecraft: How to get a froglight

The Minecraft community is continuously on the lookout for new light-emitting blocks to add to the game, as they are necessary for both aesthetics and survival. Froglights, which are obtained through playing with frogs and come in three colors, was introduced in the Wild Update. Unfortunately, obtaining froglights is a time-consuming procedure. To obtain one of the three froglights, players must combine a frog and a little magma cube.

How to make froglights in Minecraft

Magma cubes can only be found in the Nether, while frogs can be found in swamps or mangrove swamps. This means that players must either take a frog to the Nether or bring a magma cube to the ordinary world through a Nether portal. Both solutions are difficult and will necessitate patience and good fortune. Frogs and magma cubes can both be loaded in boats, allowing players to use this old way of transferring creatures to move them about. Magma cubes cannot be linked to a lead, but frogs can, opening up another possibility for combining the two to make a frog light.

Frogs are rather easy to locate because they can be found in the most swamp and mangrove swamp biomes, however, magma cubes are more difficult to come by because they can only be found in the Nether Wastes, Basalt Deltas, Nether Fortress, and Bastion Remain locations. If you're having problems finding a tiny magma cube, keep in mind that hitting a regular one will break it into several smaller ones. When players kill a standard magma cube, it will split into two to four smaller cubes.

When a frog sees a little magma cube, they attack with its tongue and swallow it, leaving behind a froglight. The froglight comes in three different color options. The following are the types of frogs and the colors of froglight they will produce after digesting a little magma cube.

• Warm (white) frogs will drop the “pearlescent” purple froglight
• Cold (green) frogs will drop the “verdant” green froglight
• Temperate (orange) frogs will drop the “ochre” yellow froglight

Achievement for successfully collecting all three forms of froglight by bringing all three types of frogs together using little magma cubes. When players have all three froglights in their inventory, the "With Our Powers Combined!" achievement unlocks.
