HOW TO SAVE THE QUARRY NICK: GENERAL TIPS

First and foremost, this guide contains major spoilers. Before reading any guides, you should probably play through the game at least once to get the whole experience. This guide will help you decide which actions are the best, but there are a lot of options in this game, and things can go wrong. Because the story's broad strokes should remain the same regardless of what you do, we'll concentrate on the major decisions that normally determine whether someone lives or dies. You shouldn't have too many problems attaining the result you desire if you follow these ideas and are successful in QTEs or other skill checks.

HOW TO SAVE THE QUARRY NICK: SOME THINGS CANNOT BE AVOIDED

These guidelines will, for the most part, tell you how to get these characters through the night without getting hurt. Regrettably, this is not always possible. Nick will be in a cage beneath the Hackett House the next time we see him. Jacob will be imprisoned beside him, and Ryan and Laura will discover them both later. Do not let Laura kill Nick if you want to get Nick out of this scenario alive. She'll give it her all because she has silver-laced ammunition. Prevent her from doing so, and don't feed Jacob to Nick if at all possible. Nick should be left in the cage because he will be safe there for the time being. Later, at the lodge, Kaitlyn and Dylan will be assaulted by a werewolf. There are numerous ways to deal with it, but the best option is to put the werewolf in the freezer, as detailed in how to save Kaitlyn in The Quarry. One way or another, you'll have to deal with that werewolf.

Caleb will revert to human form and die in the freezer once the White Wolf is dead or the morning arrives. Regardless, Nick, who was bitten by Caleb, will be free of the curse. This is the only way to help Nick not only make it through the night but also to break the curse that has been placed on him.
