When you play as him, you take on that obligation, and you should take it seriously. You'll have plenty of opportunities to fire guns in the Quarry, even if you're not sure what you're aiming at. If you go around firing at everything, you'll mostly end up shooting at nothing, but you'll kill more of your friends than your enemies. Basically, only shoot if you know what you're shooting at is terrible. Hunters and werewolves, without a doubt. It's nearly never a good idea to shoot into the dark or into the bushes. It's a waste of ammo at best.

HOW TO SAVE THE QUARRY RYAN: THE HACKETT HOUSE

Ryan will eventually accompany Laura to the Hackett House. This is where things get a little hairy because the Hacketts will undoubtedly catch them both. You can learn how to save Laura in The Quarry, but here are the choices you'll have to make to keep Ryan alive. Ryan will be stabbed first by Bobby. You will have the option of removing the knife, but it is preferable to do so. You'll have to flee here, and removing the knife will only make things more difficult for Ryan.

Watch for an opportunity to sneak out to the next room while Bobby is in the room and you are holding your breath.
