Growing crops on Island Sanctuary

As you travel through the visions of your Island Sanctuary, this activity will become available. Your visions will direct you to accomplish tasks and raise your sanctuary status, which will grant you access to more resources and structures to use throughout your stay here. Following the construction of your cabin, the next action will be to grow crops. The Produce Producer will explain the specifics of how you're going to raise crops to you at this meeting.

You can plant any seed you gather on your Island Sanctuary in the cropland once you unlock this activity. When you're ready to plant a crop, select the sort of seed you wish to plant by clicking the Sow mode on your Islekeep Index. Plant the seed you want to grow in an empty plot, then turn on your Islekeep index's water mode. If it doesn't rain, you should water any crops you plant in the cropland to ensure they grow. Once this occurs, they won't need any water.

You can use the cull mode in your Islekeep Index to delete a seed if you want to utilize another one instead before it has finished growing. It will be necessary to water this new seed. Hovering over seed in the Islekeep Index will show you how long it will take it to grow. You may check up on these plants by going to the respective crop sites on your island.
